Travis M (IzaVybez) Campbell, (also known as IzaVybez Ki La), hailing from the village of Castle Bruce on the eastern coast of Dominica, is a multifaceted artist making waves in the music scene. Widely recognized by his moniker, “The Bouyon Assassin,” he is on a mission to innovate and energize the genre.
Born to a Trinidadian father and a Dominican mother, IzaVybez grew up alongside his younger sibling in a household that fostered creativity. From a tender age, he displayed a natural inclination for the arts, exploring various mediums including visual art, poetry, dance, and acting.
His professional journey in music began remarkably early. At just 10 years old, he had his first official studio session, collaborating with his father on a poetry album. By 15, he had taught himself to play the keyboard, eventually becoming the main keyboardist for his local church—a role he held until the age of 18. During his high school years, he further honed his vocal skills as a lead singer in the school choir and was deeply involved in extracurriculars, including dancing and co-founding the popular “Beyond Band”, and “Revelation Boys”
As an adult, IzaVybez has evolved into a complete creative force. He has expanded his portfolio from performing to producing, writing his own songs and creating original beats using FL Studio. His drive to master his craft has led him to learn a range of creative software, including the Adobe Creative Suite and Blender. This dedication grants him a unique and cohesive visual style that perfectly complements the innovative energy he brings to his music.
